Store employee stabbed during armed robbery in Milton

Halton police are seeking witnesses after a violent armed robbery in Milton.

It happened at the Freedom Mobile at 500 Laurier Ave. just after 7 p.m. on Thursday.

Police say a man who was working in the store was stabbed during a robbery.

He was taken to hospital in stable condition.

Police say the suspects fled the scene before officers arrived.

A short time later, a 46-year-old man and two 14-year-old boys were arrested in Mississauga in connection with the incident.

Halton police are asking any residents or businesses who may have dashcam or security footage of the area around 7 p.m. to contact police.
