Stolen dogs reunited with owner, 2 still missing: OPP

First Published:

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) says several stolen dogs have been reunited with their owner.

Police were called to an address on Lions Club Rd. in Lakeshore back on June 5.

Someone had broken into the property during the early morning hours and took seven beagles.

Throughout the month of July, OPP located five of the dogs in Windsor as well as seven puppies.

All of the animals were returned to the owner.

Police say two beagles are still missing and there is a concern for their well-being.

Investigators say they are hoping to track them down “in the shortest available time to prevent undue harm or stress to the animals.”

Anyone with information that could help is asked to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
