Steven Del Duca announced he will be running for mayor of Vaughan.
Del Duca is the former Ontario Liberal Party leader. He stepped down in June after losing the provincial election.
In a Tweet this morning, Del Duca says he will work to fix gridlock in the city if elected.
Vaughan has some of the busiest and most gridlocked roads in Canada. Every day we’re spending more time commuting and less and less time with our loved ones.
With your help, I want to fix that – it’s why I’m running for Mayor.
Together, let’s get Vaughan moving. pic.twitter.com/Chw8zeHP66
