St. Catharines sub shop robbed

Police are searching for a man, after a St.Catharines’ Subway restaurant was robbed.

The incident happened at around 9pm Tuesday night at the Lakeport Road location.

Police say the man was armed with a gun, demanded money and fled.

The K-9 unit was brought in to search for the suspect but without success.

He’s described as white, 19 or 20 years old, with a slim build, and wearing dark clothing and a bandana.
