Niagara police are investigating a homicide that happened just before 5:00 p.m. yesterday at a house on Densgrove Road near Vine Steet in St. Catharines.

Officers responded to a report of an assault but when they arrived on scene they found a woman in her 60’s woman deceased in the house. After an initial investigation, officers arrested a man who was at the scene.
