St. Catharines man charged with attempted murder following altercation

A 55-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder following an altercation in St. Catharines.

Officers were called to an apartment building in the area of Queenston St. and Riodon St. around 9 a.m. Wednesday.

Two men in their fifties were found suffering from serious injuries. They were taken to a local hospital before being transported via air ambulance to an out of town hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Michael A. Pula, of St. Catharines, was arrested and charged with attempted murder.

He attended a bail hearing on Friday and was remanded into custody.
