St. Catharines man, 40, arrested for child exploitation

A 40-year-old man has been charged following an investigation into the sexual exploitation of a child.

Mark Venne, of St. Catharines, was arrested on Thursday.

He has been charged with make available sexually explicit material to person under or believed to be under 16 years, expose genitals to a person under 16 years of age, and fail to comply with probation order.

Police have not released further details about the alleged incident.

They say Venne has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
