St. Catharines author tries to break record

First Published:

A St. Catharines author is trying to make it into the record books with her children’s book, “I can believe in myself.”

Miriam Laundry hopes to break the Guinness world record for the most children reading with an adult at once.

In May, Laundry will attempt to have over 300 thousand grown-ups reading her book with children.

At that time, Laundry will launch her “healthy minds” campaign to raise awareness about children’s mental health. A portion of the proceeds from each book is being donated to the Canadian Mental Health Association.
