SIU investigating incident in Brantford

Ontario’s police watchdog is investigating an incident in Brantford that sent a man to hospital with a facial injury on Friday evening.


Brantford police say a 34-year-old man ran from his vehicle after officers asked him to pull over.

The officers then chased the man, who was later caught by two plainclothes police officers.

The Special Investigations Unit is called in whenever someone dies or is injured during a police investigation.
