Simcoe auto plant to expand

First Published:

Simcoe’s auto parts plant says it will add at least another 100 jobs in the next two years.

The plant, which feeds Toyota assembly plants in Woodstock and Cambridge, is in the process of adding 100,000 sq. ft. of new space in the building.

When that’s complete, its workforce is expected to reach close to 500.

The company says it hired 75 people this summer, and still had to outsource work to other plants.
