We’d like to take a moment now to bring you details on the services for our Nicola Jones, who died a little more than a week ago after a battle with cancer. Nicola was a member of the Morning Live team and is known for her “Take it Outside” segments.

Nicola loved the outdoors, so her family is holding a public celebration of her life next Tuesday at the Royal Botanical Gardens.

It will take place between 5pm and 9pm.

Nicola’s family is setting up a tree of life at next week’s event. Visitors will be able to share memories of Nicola on paper leaves, which will then be hung on the tree, and collected later as keepsakes for the family — especially for Nicola’s son, Christian.
