Second stabbing in 2 days on Hess

A 25 year old Hamilton woman has been arrested after the second stabbing in as many days in the area of Hess and Hunter streets.

A 47 year old woman was stabbed with a pair of scissors on Sunday after getting into an argument with someone she knew.

Abbi-Lynn Dutrisac of Hamilton was arrested a short time later.

The first happened early Saturday morning after a 39 year old man suffered serious injuries when he was stabbed in the arm, also by someone he knew.

59 year old Kenneth Bernard has been charged with aggravated assault in that incident.
