Search on for Burlington robbery suspects

Halton police are looking for two men, after they allegedly tried to rob 3 people at knifepoint in Burlington early Wednesday morning.

Police are investigating claims that two suspects with a six-inch switch blade attempted to rob the group on Brant Street near Leighland Road.

During the confrontation, a 17 year-old female was punched in the face and suffered minor injuries.

Police believe the two men ran towards the QEW and tried to cross the highway near Brant.

The two suspects are white, about 20 years-old, between 5′ 10″ and 6′ tall and skinny.

The first suspect has short blond hair and scruffy facial hair. He was wearing a white puffy jacket, dark jeans and had a white bandana with a black pattern around his neck.

The second suspect was wearing a black winter hat, black jacket with hood and black skinny jeans.
