A group of Canadian professors and academics will continue a two-day labour-action calling for racial justice.
Several university classes across the country are on hold until Friday because of the Scholar Strike.
Instead of being in class, professors are organizing digital teach-ins on police brutality and violence.
These are available to the general public.

“Statements of solidarity, while important, are not enough,” said a statement on the website.
“We must commit ourselves as scholars, artists, writers, poets, designers and researchers to actively ending all forms of racist, carceral, institutional and systemic forms of violence.”
Brock University has put out a statement about the Scholar Strike, saying it supports the rights of community members to work together for change.
They are those taking part to balance this with the needs of students.
The Scholar Strike movement began in the U.S. from a tweet originated by a University of Pennsylvania professor.
