Royal Baby makes first appearance

First Published:

(Updated) Just over 24 hours after his arrival, the newest member of the Royal family has made his public debut.

Prince William and Duchess Kate emerged from the Lindo wing of St Mary’s Hospital in London at 2:13 pm Hamilton time.

There is still no answer as to what he will be named. “We’re still working on that”, said Prince William.

The young family is expected to head to an apartment at Kensington Palace. They will take the heir to meet The Queen – his great-grandmother – in the coming days.

The child is third in line to the throne, after Prince Charles and Prince William.

Sean Leathong has more.
