Rob Ford supports Christine Elliott

Former Toronto mayor Rob Ford has thrown his support behind Ontario Progressive Conservative leadership candidate Christine Elliott.

Rob Ford, and his brother Doug, were backing Monte McNaughton before he dropped out of the race. Elliot says she’s been family friends with the Fords for many years.

PC members across the province will vote for the new leader on May 3rd and 7th. The race is now down to Elliot and Barrie MP Patrick Brown.
