100 motorcyclists hit the gas Saturday, in Brantford to remember the life of a young woman cut tragically short.

The 2nd annual Ride for Desiree Gallagher but the first without her.

100 riding strong from Brantford to Port Dover for her memory and to raise money for victims of crime and the physically disabled.

Two years ago Desiree Gallagher was brutally assaulted and suffered a fall from the 7th floor London apartment balcony belonging to convicted killer Justin Primmer.

The cause of the fall was never determined but Primmer pleaded guilty to assault and served 6 months.

Gallagher was left with a brain injury, a broken spine and a loss of vision.

She recovered in Brantford and made impressive progress but was found without vital signs last May by staff.
