Reese Witherspoon films among those announced for Toronto International Film Festival

The Toronto International Film Festival has announced part of this year’s line-up.

The Good Lie will celebrate its world premiere at the festival. The film stars Reese Witherspoon, and is based on the true story of how an American woman helped four Sudanese refugees. Witherspoon also stars in another movie being screened at TIFF called Wild.

Other big films that will see their premieres in Toronto are The Equalizer starring Denzel Washington, Pawn Sacrifice starring Tobey Maguire as Bobby Fischer, and Black and White with Kevin Costner.

Alan Rickman’s A Little Chaos starring Rickman and Kate Winslet will close the film festival on September 13th.
