Red wine and obesity

First Published:

An ingredient in red wine may help fight obesity.

Researchers found when obese men took a daily supplement of pure Resveratrol, they showed improved metabolic health after only one month.

In fact, the natural supplement was as effective on the body’s metabolism as severe calorie restriction.

The men also had less fat in their liver, lower blood sugar levels and blood pressure.

Researchers say it also changed the way their muscles burned fat.
