Red Hill Valley Parkway construction update

First Published:

Construction in the southbound (upbound) lanes of the Red Hill Valley Parkway will continue through the weekend as crews finish installing new guardrails and complete line painting.

The City anticipates the work on the southbound lanes will be done on Wednesday, July 10 and the road will re-open beginning at 11pm on Wednesday, weather permitting.

The final phase of the resurfacing project will begin Thursday, July 11 and will include closures on the ramps at the south end of the RHVP at Mud St. And Stone Church Rd.

Closures will include:

– Ramp from Mud St to westbound Lincoln M. Alexander Parkway
– Ramp from the Upper Red Hill Valley Parkway to westbound Lincoln M. Alexander Parkway
– Ramp from the Upper Red Hill Valley Parkway to the northbound RHVP

The work on the ramps should take about two weeks to complete.
