Pregnant woman, baby involved in crash with impaired driver: Hamilton police

A Hamilton man has been arrested for impaired driving following a collision that involved a pregnant woman and her one-year-old baby.

Officers were called to a crash near King St. and Nash Rd. around 6:15 p.m. Monday.

Police allege a 41-year-old man was driving drunk and crashed into another vehicle.

The driver of the other car, his pregnant wife and baby boy did not suffer any physical injuries.

The family was assessed at the scene by paramedics and later drove home in their vehicle.

The 41-year-old man was also uninjured. He has been charged with impaired driving and his vehicle was impounded.
