Not only does today mark one year since recreational cannabis was legalized in Canada, but it’s also the first day that next-generation products like edibles, oils and topicals are also legal.

According to some industry experts, these new waves of products will usher in a new way to consume cannabis.

Ontario’s Minister of Health, Christine Elliot told CHCH that the provincial government still has concerns about the introduction of legal edibles including their availability to young people.
