Port Dover parties waiting for swimmer Annaleise Carr

Annaleise Carr is still swimming her way across Lake Erie Friday night and will be into Saturday morning.

The 16-year old began her latest marathon journey just after five Friday morning.

She entered the water in Erie, Pennsylvania and will end in Port Dover some time tomorrow

The record-setting marathon will take roughly 30 hours to complete.

In the meantime dozens were out on the beach in Port Dover in a festive mood waiting for the swimmer.

Friday night CHCH’s Nick Dixon was joined by Carr spokesperson Aaron Gotrow on the Evening News at 11.
