Pope Francis called on Christians not to fear their faith, during a mass on Sunday.
The pontiff addressed thousands of people gathered in St. Peter’s Square.
He told the crowd, “Don’t be afraid to be and to live as Christians.”
The speech comes two days after the pope ordered the Vatican to act decisively on sexual abuse cases involving Catholic clergy.
