Police to provide update on human remains found at Niagara power generating station

First Published:

Niagara police are expected to provide an update Thursday morning on the investigation into human remains that were located at a power generating station in 2019.

Police say the remains were located by employees of the Sir Adam Beck Power Generating Station at 14000 Niagara Parkway in Niagara-On-The-Lake on Dec. 11, 2019.

Investigators worked with an Ontario Provincial Police forensic artist and have completed a 3D facial approximation of the person.

Niagara police are hoping the image will help identify the deceased.

A virtual news conference is scheduled to take place at 11 a.m. on Thursday.
