Police to investigate city workers

First Published:

Hamilton police have reportedly been asked to help the city investigate 32 city workers and as many as 5 supervisors.

They’ve been suspended with pay, suspected of using city vehicles for personal use and getting full pay for working a few hours.

Some public works employees are accused of selling asphalt or other unused materials from the back of city vehicles.

The city expects to decide what to do with the employees within a week.
