Police seek help identifying driver after trailer stolen in Oakville

Halton police are investigating after someone stole a trailer that was parked on a roadway in Oakville.

It happened on Saturday in the area of Sherin Dr.

Police say a black Ford F150 was captured on surveillance video several times during the early morning hours.

Around 7:20 a.m., the pickup truck’s driver can be seen hooking up to a black 2003 Nando trailer that was parked.

The man then left the area with the trailer attached to his vehicle. He is described as white and wearing a dark coloured baseball hat.

The truck had an extended cab with chrome bumpers.

Anyone with information that could help identify the driver or the vehicle is asked to contact police at 905-825-4747, ext. 2216.
