Hamilton Police search for sexual assault suspect

Hamilton Police are asking for help from the public in their continued search for a sexual assault suspect.

Officers responded to the central downtown area of Catharine and Robert Streets at around 7 p.m. on Saturday where a woman was the victim of sexual assault.

The suspect in this investigation is described as a dark skinned male, approximately six feet tall with a scar from his mouth to his ear on the right side of his face.

Police ask residents and businesses in the area to review their security cameras between 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. and contact police if they see any suspicious activity.
