Police look to ID suspect in Hamilton Mountain gas station robbery

Hamilton police are hoping the public can help identify a man wanted in connection with a robbery that happened last month on the mountain.

Police say a man entered a gas station in the area of Upper Paradise Rd. and Stone Church Rd. West around 1:30 a.m. on Oct. 7.

The man demanded cash from the employee and then fled the store on foot, heading eastbound on Stone Church Rd. West.

Police say the employee did not suffer any physical injuries during the incident.

The Hamilton Police BEAR Unit has taken over the investigation.

Police describe the suspect as Black, in his late 20s, with a thin build. He was wearing a black puffy jacket with a white logo on the left side, a black hooded sweatshirt with a large grey Blue Jays logo on the chest, black pants, a black baseball cap with a square grey logo, a dark coloured mask and white and black low-cut converse basketball shoes.
