Police investigating shooting on Hamilton mountain, no injuries reported

Hamilton Police say there were no injuries in a shooting on the mountain on Tuesday, the first shooting incident of 2021.

Police were called to the area of Upper Red Hill Valley Parkway and Times Square Blvd. around 12:30 p.m. for reports of shots fired.

They say two men tried to break into a home but weren’t able to get in. Police say “several shots” were fired during the incident.

Officers remained on scene for several hours.

Police say they believe this was a targeted incident and are asking area residents to check their security cameras for any suspicious activity.
