Police investigating after shots fired at 2 Jewish schools in Montréal

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau called on Canadians to reject antisemitism, after Montréal police say two Jewish schools were hit overnight by gunshots. Escalating tensions are spawning in the country.

The targeting of Jewish schools is just the latest incident in Montréal in connection with the war between Israel and Hamas.

Clashes mounted at Concordia university over the past few days resulting in injuries and arrests – much of the melees at the university going viral.
