Police investigate theft of boat and trailer worth $68K in Port Dover

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating after a boat and trailer were stolen in Port Dover.

On Sunday, July 31, at around 7:55 a.m. OPP investigated the theft from a Hamilton Plank Road address.

Police say between July 29 and July 31, unknowns attended the address and stole a boat and trailer from the property.

The boat is described as a 2022, black coloured Legend F19, 20-foot power boat with a 115 hp Mercury motor. The boat was covered by a pale green tarp. The 2022 trailer was described as black.

The theft is valued at around $68,000.

Police say they are continuing to investigate and are reviewing surveillance footage to try and identify those responsible.
