Police investigate stabbing in Niagara Falls, man in critical condition

Niagara police are investigating a stabbing in Niagara Falls.

On Saturday, Aug. 20, at around 3:15 a.m., police attended the R Bar and Eatery at 5926 Main Street near Ferry Street for reports of a stabbing incident.

Paramedics treated a man for serious stab wounds. He was transported to a trauma hospital where he remains in critical condition.

Police say there are limited details and suspect information because the investigation is in its early stages. The suspect may have fled the area in a dark-coloured SUV or sedan.
