Police investigate Pelham convenience store robbery

Niagara Regional Police are hoping the public can identify a suspected thief through his sweatshirt.

The Circle K Convenience Store and Gas station on Pelham St. in Pelham was robbed at around 4:30 a.m. Friday.

Police say the man had an edged weapon and was provided with an undisclosed amount of cash and goods.

The clerk was not injured.

Police say the man fled the area before officers arrived.

He is described as white, between 18 and 25 years old and around 5’8″ tall.

The man was wearing a black baseball hat, black hooded sweatshirt, black jogging pants and black running shoes with red soles.

Police have released a picture of the back of sweatshirt in the hopes of identifying the suspect.
