UPDATE

Halton police say a man suffered minor injuries after an “apparent abduction” was reported to police in Burlington.

It happened in the area of Queensway Dr. and Cleta St. around 1:45 p.m. Thursday.

Police say a man was walking on the south side of Queensway Dr. when a silver Dodge Caravan and a black, older model Honda Civic pulled up beside him.

A male exited the passenger side of the minivan and the driver and passenger got out of the car. The trio chased the man onto a residential property on Cleta Dr.

Investigators say the victim was allegedly assaulted before being put into the van against his will. The minivan was last seen travelling southbound on Cleta Dr. towards Glenwood School Dr.

Shortly before 1 p.m. Friday, Halton police issued a news release stating the victim was located in good health. They say the man suffered minor injuries during the altercation but he is refusing to cooperate with police.

Investigators also found the black Civic believed to have been involved in the incident. The car was seized and will undergo a forensic investigation.

Police are still searching for four suspects.

The passenger of the minivan is described as a white male, with a slim build, and was wearing camo shorts and no shirt.

The driver of the Civic is described as a white male and was wearing a tan baseball cap, black pants with white stripes down leg, white shoes, and a white t-shirt.

The passenger of the Civic is described as a white male and was wearing black track pants, a black hooded sweatshirt with the hood up, and white high top shoes.

Police do not have a suspect description for the driver of the minivan.

Anyone with information about this incident or who may have security video from the area involved is asked to contact Det. Jared McLeod at 905-825-4747, ext. 2385.
