Police say the 22 year old man shot and killed in Hamilton on Monday was an innocent bystander.

James Bajkor was shot while working at a home he was renting out. It followed a dispute between Justin Beals, 34, and Shaquille Collins, 19. Beals was also shot and has been released from hospital.

Yesterday afternoon police arrested 28 year old Christopher Newton and a 16 year old boy, who cannot be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act. Both are charged with second degree murder and attempted murder; the youth is also charged with breaching probation and unauthorized possession of a gun.
