Pierre Poilievre goes viral for calling Justin Trudeau and his father “Marxists”

Canada’s opposition leader is going viral once again, this time, aligning Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his father Pierre with anti-capitalistic beliefs.

A video of Pierre Poilievre going door knocking was posted to social media, and in it he can be heard calling the Trudeau’s “Marxists” – a term used to describe a supporter of the political and economic theories of 19th century philosopher Karl Marx.

This latest jab follows a contentious history between both leaders. Jason Gaidola has more.
