Julie Sharp was born and raised in Toronto. Her aspirations to become a broadcast journalist began at the tender age of four as she would watch the news daily with her family.

In 2024, Julie graduated from the Radio Television and Film Broadcasting program at Niagara College and immediately after graduating, she landed her first career job as a video journalist at CHCH News.

Julie is also the host and producer of her own faith-based podcast and serves as the in-game host of the CEBL Niagara River Lions.

Julie loves going to church, attending basketball games, travelling, eating at nice restaurants and spending quality time with loved ones.
