Peel police charge male nurse with sexual assault

Investigators from the Special Victims Unit have charged a 31-year-old male nurse with sexual assault.

Police say on November 24 a patient at Trillium Health Partners, Mississauga hospital was sexually assaulted by a nurse assigned to the victim’s care.

Ian Angelo De Jesus Jacobe was arrested and charged with sexual assault on November 24. Jacobe was released on a promise to appear before an Ontario court on December 12.

Investigators are asking anyone who believes they may have had contact with Jacobe to contact police.
