Outbreak spreads to 62 cases at The Rosslyn Retirement Home in Hamilton


A COVID-19 outbreak at The Rosslyn Retirement Home in Hamilton has spread.

49 residents and 13 staff members have tested positive for COVID-19.

Residents are currently being transferred to St. Joeseph’s Hospital and Hamilton General.

Today, Dr. Elizabeth Richardson, Hamilton’s Medical Officer of Health reported a new COVID-19 death which is the city’s 26th life lost to the virus. The city confirmed that it was a 70-year-old man from The Rosslyn Retirement Home.
