OPP investigating after shots fired at Norfolk County gas station

Norfolk County OPP are investigating after shots were fired at a local gas station.

Police say the owner, who lives on the property with their family, woke up around 3:45 a.m. on Sunday after hearing gun shots outside.

The shots had damaged the building and gas pumps located on the property on Norfolk County Highway 24 East, near Forestry Farm Rd.

Surveillance footage captured a small, dark-coloured car. Police are trying to identify the owner of the vehicle.

They’re asking area residents to check their surveillance footage. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 1-888-310-1122.
