OPP investigate after man assaulted during violent home invasion

Ontario Provincial Police is investigating after a man was assaulted during a violent home invasion Wednesday morning.

It happened at a home on Elizabeth Cres. in Dunnville around 8:30 a.m.

Police say three people forced their way into the home and demanded cash from a male inside. The male was struck by an unknown object before the suspects fled the area in a vehicle that was parked down the street.

Investigators are looking for two males and a female who were wearing hooded sweatshirts and had their faces covered.

The vehicle is described as a white, 1990’s model Pontiac or Honda, with a black fin on the rear. It was last seen traveling eastbound toward John St.

The Haldimand OPP Crime Unit is asking anyone with information that could help police to contact 1-888-310-1122.
