Representatives from Ontario’s tourism sector will be at Queen’s Park today speaking before a committee on the devastating effects of the pandemic.
The province’s standing committee on finance and economic affairs will meet for most of the day to hear from groups representing hotels, restaurants and attractions from all over Ontario.
Culture and Tourism Minister Lisa MacLeod is also scheduled to address the committee.
Niagara Falls in particular has been hit hard by the downturn in tourism caused by COVID-19
