Ontario sees decrease in COVID-19 patients in ICU

There are now 65 patients with confirmed cases of COVID-19 currently in hospital. Despite that increase, Ontario is reporting a decrease in the number of patients on ventilators and in the ICU.

There are 112 new cases of COVID-19 in the province today, an increase of 0.3 percent bringing the total in Ontario to 42,421.

The majority of new cases are coming from the GTA with Peel, York and Toronto accounting for 82 of those cases, with Windsor accounting for another 11.

The majority of the province’s health units reported just five cases or less, with 18 units reporting no new cases.
