Ontario reports 88 new cases of COVID-19, no new deaths

Ontario is reporting 88 new cases of COVID-19 and no new deaths.

Friday’s numbers show an additional 118 resolved cases.

A total of 2,783 people have died of the virus.

There are 1,090 active cases of COVID-19 in Ontario.

Across the province there are 66 patients currently hospitalized with COVID-19.

Of those, 28 are in the ICU and 12 of those are on ventilators.

Here’s how the numbers break down in our region:

Haldimand-Norfolk: 2 new cases, 28 active cases

Hamilton: 3 new cases, 13 active cases

Niagara: 8 new cases, 60 active cases

Halton: 3 new cases, 15 active cases

Brant: 0 new cases, 12 active cases
