Ontario reports 502 COVID-19 cases, 15 deaths

Ontario reported 502 cases of COVID-19 and 15 deaths today.

The reported positivity rate is 2.1 per cent, with the province completing almost 24,100 tests in the last day.

There are 447 people in hospital with COVID-19 across the province, which is down from 489 reported yesterday.

There are 422 people in intensive care units, with 277 of them on ventilators.

Another 830 cases have been marked as resolved.

According to the province, 195,032 vaccine doses were administered on Friday. Of those, 134,019 people became fully vaccinated.

There are 1,667,761 people in the province who have received both vaccines.
