Ontario is reporting 401 new cases of COVID-19 and no new deaths.
The last time the province had a daily new case count over 400 was in June.
Toronto, Peel and Ottawa continue to lead the province in new cases, according to Minister of Health Christine Elliott.
Ontario is reporting 401 cases of #COVID19 as over 35,800 tests were completed. Locally, there are 130 new cases in Toronto with 82 in Peel and 61 in Ottawa. 67% of today’s new cases are in people under the age of 40.

Two hundred of the new cases reported are in people aged 20-39.
The province added 176 cases to the resolved total and completed 35,826 tests.
The death toll is steady at 2,825.
There are 2,652 active cases of COVID-19 in Ontario.
The number of people in hospital is 58, up from 53 the previous day. Hospitalized patients in ICU and those on ventilators is down slightly.
Eleven new cases have been reported in schools across the province, bringing the total number of school cases to 72.
Of the new school cases reported on Friday, five are in students.

Brant: 1 new case, 4 active cases
Niagara: 5 new cases, 36 active cases
Hamilton: 9 new cases, 48 active cases
