Ontario is reporting 3,216 cases of COVID-19 and 47 deaths today.
This is the highest daily death toll recorded since Feb. 19 when the same number was recorded.
The reported positivity rate is 7.1 per cent with 38,540 tests completed.

As of 8:00 p.m. yesterday, 6,144,685 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered.

The province says there are currently 1,640 COVID-19 patients in hospital with 848 in the ICU. 580 people are on ventilators.
Ontario has administered 121,075 vaccines doses on Saturday, for a total of 6,144,685.
