Ontario is reporting 321 new COVID-19 cases Wednesday and nine more deaths related to the virus.
Health Minister Christine Elliott says 203 of the infected people are not fully vaccinated or have an unknown vaccination status.
She says 118 of the cases are in fully vaccinated people.
The data is based on 30,776 tests completed on the previous day.
The province says 18,428 doses of a COVID-19 vaccine were administered in the last 24-hour period for a total of more than 22.4 million.
Elliott says 88 per cent of Ontarians aged 12 and older have received one dose and 84.1 per cent have two doses.
She says 215 people are currently in hospital due to COVID-19. Of those in hospital, 188 are not fully vaccinated or have an unknown vaccination status and 27 are fully vaccinated.
There are currently 134 patients in intensive care with COVID-related critical illnesses and 91 on ventilators.
Of the province’s 626 long-term care homes, at least three are in an outbreak.
An active COVID-19 outbreak indicates that the home has at least one lab-confirmed case of COVID-19 (in resident or staff) and the local public health unit or the home has declared an outbreak.
