Ontario is reporting 226 new COVID-19 cases Friday and 11 more deaths.
The data is based on 21,000 completed tests.
This is the second time the province has reported over 200 cases in as many days.
Health Minister Christine Elliott says there are 62 new cases in Toronto, 35 in the Region of Waterloo, 24 in Peel Region, and 13 in York Region.

There are currently 117 patients in intensive care with COVID-related critical illness and 77 on ventilators.
The province says 83,907 doses of a COVID-19 vaccine were administered Thursday for a total of more than 19.3 million.
Of the province’s 626 long-term care homes, at least five are in an outbreak including Arbour Creek Long-Term Care Centre in Hamilton, St. Joseph’s Villa in Dundas, Fox Ridge Care Community in Brantford, and The Village of Tansley Woods in Burlington.
An active COVID-19 outbreak indicates that the home has at least one lab-confirmed case of COVID-19 (in resident or staff) and the local public health unit or the home has declared an outbreak.
